The shape and patina on this antique wood drill is what attracted it to us when we first saw it, and cleaning uncovered some nice brass detailing too.

This is another in our ‘form follows function’ series – the drill is making it’s way through a block of big-leaf maple.   The Edison bulb beautifully highlights the artifact and the spiral wire bulb cover is reminiscent of the shape of drill bits.  Simple yet effective.

Size 6″ x 5″ x 18″ (15cm x 13cm x46cm)

All electrical parts are new.  It is supplied with a 25watt candelabra Edison bulb and 6 feet of brass coloured electrical cord with an in-line toggle switch.
