This beautiful object is an vintage Paillard phonograph or record player, made in Switzerland around 1920.  All of the inside chrome components and detailing are in excellent shape.  The outside of the lid is a little frayed, but that only adds to its’ vintage character.  We’ve added 2 chrome sockets, a dimmer (controlled by a knob that looks like it belongs there). and 2 vintage-style LED tubular bulbs.  The LED bulbs produce very little heat, so there should be no concern of the lid being affected.  The lid is fixed in place to protect the bulbs from an accidental lid closure.  Comes with a 78 rpm record.  The record player does work – the winding will last for one side of the 78.
