This quirky little lamp is made from a Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 box camera, made between 1946 and 1952. It was a very popular camera and many of the great (and not-so-great) photographers of the post-war era started with one of these cameras as a child. The frontpiece has great art deco styling.
With the addition of a flexible lamp pipe and a reproduction Edison bulb, this lamp reminds me of the hopping ‘I’ in the Pixar movies, ready to shine a light into the darkest corners. The flexible pipe may be repositioned however your mood dictates!
Size 5″ diameter x 17″ (depending on how you pose it) (12cm x 43 cm)
Comes with a standard base socket, 25w reproduction Edison bulb as shown, and 6 feet of black vinyl cord with a full range in-line dimmer.
