Buying Info

If you live in the Ottawa area, you are welcome to come by our home studio and view the lamp(s) before you decide to buy.  Please contact us to arrange a date and time.  If you come to the studio, I accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  I will also accept email transfers.  If buying on-line, I accept various credit cards through Paypal   – either click here or click on ‘Buy Now‘ on the main menu to make a purchase.  No worries if you don’t have a Paypal account – you can sign up for one when you make the purchase which will make future on-line shopping easier.

Shipping

Please fill in the contact form if you are interested in any of the lamps and provide your address and postal code so I can give you a shipping cost.The Shipping Price will be calculated using Canada Post ‘regular parcel’ which will take 2-9 days.  The price will include insurance. If you would like it faster than 2-9 days (i.e. Express or Priority Post or UPS), I’m happy to accommodate you. If you buy multiple lamps, it may be possible to combine shipping (depending on the size of the lamps) which may reduce total shipping costs.  Please note that the shipping cost will be the direct cost to me as quoted by Canada Post – I do not mark up shipping charges.  Please don’t shoot the messenger!  Recycled packaging is used whenever possible.

Please inspect the lamp carefully upon receipt.  All damage claims must be filed with the carrier by the recipient.

Reserved Products, Cancellation and Returns

I am happy to hold a product for you in you need extra time to think about it. However, ANY RESERVATION BEYOND 24 HOURS requires a non-refundable deposit of 1/4 the item total. Email me to make arrangements

Cancelled Orders:   If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible. Cancellations will be accepted on all orders if the cancellation is received prior to shipping. If shipping has occurred, please see the next paragraph.

Returns:   If you buy something and don’t want to keep it, I accept returns within two weeks of purchase. You pay shipping (and insurance) both ways.

Custom Work:
If you have an idea for a lamp/clock or already have something you think might make a good lamp/clock, please email me to discuss custom work.  If you see something in the sold gallery that you like, please let me know and I can keep an eye out for something similar.  It’ll still be one-of–kind, as exact copies are almost impossible.
