This antique wooden box with sliding top (possibly a pencil case??) has been repurposed into a steampunk shadow box containing the ringer and speaker from the inside of a rotary Bell telephone, plus a vintage radio vacuum tube and other bits and pieces from vintage clocks. The open lid of the box holds a clock with a new quartz movement.

The quartz movement takes one AA battery (not included).
